The person comes first.

We believe individuals should have a meaningful voice in decisions affecting their everyday lives. Support will be guided by each resident's assessed needs, preferences, abilities, goals, individual plan, and applicable AFC requirements.

Whenever possible, residents will be encouraged to make choices, communicate their preferences, participate in daily routines, and take an active role in their lives.

Support doesn't mean taking over.

Our goal is to provide the appropriate level of assistance while encouraging residents to maintain and develop their abilities.

Whether it's participating in meal preparation, managing personal routines, completing household activities, making everyday choices, or engaging in the community, we believe individuals should have opportunities to do what they can safely do for themselves.

Independence doesn't mean doing everything alone. It means having choices, opportunities, and a voice in your own life.

Every individual deserves to be treated with dignity regardless of diagnosis, disability, age, background, or level of support needed.

We are committed to promoting privacy, personal choice, respectful communication, individual rights, and an environment where residents feel valued as individuals.

A supportive home must also be a safe home.

Purpose Driven Living is developing policies, procedures, staff expectations, training practices, documentation systems, and emergency preparedness measures designed to support resident safety and responsible operations.

We believe accountability applies to everyone involved in providing support and that quality requires consistency, communication, documentation, and continuous improvement.

Home extends beyond four walls.

We believe meaningful community involvement can contribute to confidence, relationships, independence, personal growth, and quality of life.

Residents will be encouraged to participate in community activities and maintain meaningful relationships based on their interests, preferences, abilities, individual goals, and available opportunities.

Most importantly, we want every resident to experience something everyone deserves — a genuine sense of belonging.

Quality support works best through communication and collaboration.

When appropriate and authorized, Purpose Driven Living will work collaboratively with residents, families, guardians, case managers, support coordinators, healthcare professionals, and other members of the individual's support network.

Our goal is to support consistency, communication, continuity, and shared understanding while always respecting the resident's rights, privacy, choices, and individual plan.

We believe individuals should be recognized for their strengths and potential — not defined by their challenges.

Our recovery-oriented approach will encourage hope, personal choice, meaningful goals, skill development, stability, community participation, and opportunities for continued growth.

Progress looks different for every person. Our role is to provide encouragement and appropriate support along the way.
