Purpose Driven Living is preparing to serve adults whose assessed needs align with the level of care, supervision, and support our home will provide — in a setting that honors their dignity and individuality.

At Purpose Driven Living LLC, we believe every individual deserves a safe and supportive home where they are respected, valued, and encouraged to live with purpose.
Our developing Adult Foster Care program is intended to serve adults age 18 and older whose assessed needs are appropriate for the level of care, supervision, and support provided by our home.
Each potential placement will be considered individually to determine whether the person's needs can be safely and appropriately supported within our program and are consistent with our future AFC license.
Adults with Serious Mental Illness
We plan to provide a stable, respectful, and supportive residential environment for adults living with serious mental illness whose needs are appropriate for our level of care.
Residents must have an assessed need for AFC-level care and supervision as determined by their support coordinator or case manager.
Adults with Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities
Purpose Driven Living is being developed to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities who may benefit from assistance, supervision, structure, and encouragement in their everyday lives.
Eligibility is determined through the MDHHS developmental disabilities service system and assigned support coordinator.
Aging Adults
We recognize that aging may bring changes in a person's daily support needs while their desire for independence, dignity, choice, and meaningful relationships remains important.
Aging adults must have an assessed need for AFC-level supervision and support rather than skilled nursing care.
Young Adults Transitioning from Foster Care — Age 18+
Purpose Driven Living recognizes that the transition from foster care into adulthood can bring unique challenges as young adults work toward greater stability and independence.
Young adults must be 18 or older and have an assessed need for AFC-level support as determined by their caseworker or support coordinator.
Finding the Right Fit
Every Placement Begins With the Individual
A diagnosis, disability, age, or life circumstance alone does not determine whether Purpose Driven Living is the appropriate home for someone.
Potential placements will be considered based on the individual's assessed needs, preferences, safety considerations, required level of care and supervision, compatibility with the home's program and other residents, available resources, and our ability to appropriately meet the person's needs.
When Purpose Driven Living becomes licensed and begins considering placements, we will work with the individual and, as applicable, families, guardians, case managers, support coordinators, healthcare professionals, and other members of the person's support team to help determine whether our home may be an appropriate fit.

Purpose Driven Living LLC is currently completing the process required to operate as a Michigan Adult Foster Care home. We are not yet licensed and are not currently accepting residents or providing licensed AFC services.
